Warren P. Rogers is a lifelong resident of Lexington. In 1979, he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky. He began working for the W. Rogers Company during his summer breaks throughout college. Upon graduation, he began his career with the Company as a Jobsite Superintendent and worked his way up in the company. He took the reins as President in 1992.
Warren is very active in the construction and contracting industry. He has belonged to several construction associations, including the Kentuckiana Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), where in 1991 he served as the chapter’s youngest-ever statewide President. He has held several committee chairmanships on state and national levels with ABC. Warren is also a past board member with the Associated General Contractors of Kentucky.
Outside of his role in the construction industry, Warren is very active in the Lexington community. He serves as the President of the Music Institute board of directors. Warren is also very engaged in Commerce Lexington's Leadership Lexington program serving as the presenting sponsor and on the steering committee. He is a chartered member (since 1958) of Crestwood Christian Church in Lexington where he serves as an elder and serves on the board of trustees of Lexington Theological Seminary. Warren is married to the former Carol Goggin of Danville, Ky. They have two daughters.
While in college at the University of Kentucky, Boyd Rogers took an interest in the Heavy Equipment shop of W. Rogers Company. In 1976, Boyd became the Company's Equipment Manager. After several years in that role, Boyd became a Buyer and shortly thereafter became Manager of the Purchasing Department. This department also served as the estimating arm for the Company. Over the years, Boyd has gained a reputation as an expert in the procurement of water and wastewater treatment plant equipment and has been consulted on many occasions for his expertise in the field.
Tom McConathy is a 1978 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering. Tom, a native of Lexington, came to work for W. Rogers Company directly out of college as a Superintendent. After working his way up through the ranks of Superintendents, Tom was promoted to Project Manager in 1986. Tom was named Vice President in 1998, and now oversees the construction division of the company.
